Logistics Specialist – Defense & Manufacturing

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will oversee inbound and outbound shipments for Pulse Nova, a defense‑focused manufacturing entity of EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure seamless movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining strict compliance with defense and export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses and internal teams.
• Prepare, validate and control all customs and shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations for sensitive, serialized or controlled items.
• Synchronise deliveries with warehouse capacity and production schedules, supporting finished‑goods distribution and internal transfers.
• Maintain accurate ERP/WMS records and monitor logistics KPIs such as OTD/OTIF, transit time, cost and incident rates.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives through root‑cause analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of logistics experience in manufacturing or industrial settings with international shipment exposure.
• Proven experience coordinating freight forwarders, carriers and customs processes in regulated or defense environments.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms and export/import compliance fundamentals.
• Familiarity with controlled items or Dangerous Goods handling is a strong plus.
• ERP/WMS experience and a disciplined approach to data accuracy.
• UAE logistics operations experience and defense sector background are advantageous.
