Long-Form Content Writer (AEO/SEO)

About the role

A partner company, recruited through a third-party recruiter, is looking for a long-form content writer based in the United Arab Emirates. The role combines advanced AI workflows with strong editorial judgment to produce high-quality, publish-ready articles of at least 1,500 words, optimised for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered answer platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and improve AI-powered workflows and agent systems for content research, drafting, editing and refreshing.
• Produce long-form articles of at least 1,500 words at a consistent, scalable pace.
• Optimise content for AEO and SEO, including answer-first introductions, FAQs, structured headings, schema-ready formatting, internal linking and metadata.
• Verify sources and facts, remove unsupported claims and track performance on Google and AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
• Build batch-refresh workflows and monitor efficiency, quality and accuracy to improve the content process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in long-form writing, content optimisation, SEO and/or AEO, with a portfolio of published work.
• Hands-on experience designing and running your own AI workflows, beyond basic writing assistants.
• Ability to write consistently at 1,500+ words while keeping accuracy and editorial standards.
• Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, ClickFlow or similar platforms.
• Strong research, analytical and fact-checking skills; social media, video or short-form copywriting experience alone is not enough.

Required skills

• SEO and AEO, including search intent, answer-first structures, FAQs, schema and internal linking.
• Excellent written English, editorial judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to show examples of AI-assisted content creation and explain the human contribution.
