Maintenance Planning Engineer (Jakarta Recruitment Event)

About the role

The Maintenance Planning Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to ensure continuous airworthiness of Air Arabia's fleet and third‑party aircraft. This position is linked to an invitation‑only recruitment event in Jakarta, Indonesia, and candidates must be available to attend the event in the last week of September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑term and long‑term maintenance plans in line with the Approved Maintenance Program and CAMO requirements.
• Forecast maintenance activities in the company MIS (AMOS) and create work packages, preloads, and Gantt charts.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled line, base, workshop and third‑party maintenance work packages with all relevant stakeholders.
• Manage maintenance capacity planning and ensure alignment with calendar, flight hours, cycles, cost and business needs.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly man‑hour forecasts and utilization reports.
• Provide feedback to CAMO engineering services for continuous improvement of maintenance documentation.
• Liaise with the Engineering Procurement team to secure tools, spare parts and components before scheduling.

Required profile

• Experience in aircraft maintenance planning or a similar aviation maintenance environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance cost, safety and operational reliability.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMOS maintenance information system.
• Experience using MIS for maintenance forecasting.
• Ability to create and interpret Gantt charts for project scheduling.
