Manager, Business Support

About the role

ADNOC is looking for a Manager, Business Support in Abu Dhabi. The role provides professional expertise in operational excellence by managing retail inventory, retail contracts and agreements, invoice payments, retail quality management initiatives and knowledge management (best practice sharing), contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Track and measure operational excellence across products and services (quality, standards, customer feedback) and oversee corrective actions.
• Develop the operating framework for the function and plan and lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives across Retail.
• Monitor operations across the ADNOC Distribution network and ensure compliance with ISO standardization requirements.
• Oversee stock-taking, analyse inventory variances and manage stock take systems, schedules and procedures for C-Stores, Lubricants, LPG, Main Products and Accessories.
• Manage contracts and agreements, contractor performance and payments, and carry out technical evaluation of suppliers.
• Drive quality management tools, streamline work processes and conduct internal audits at service stations.
• Analyse operational data to improve service station efficiency and help teams meet KPIs.
• Propose cost optimization initiatives and recommend process re-engineering to reduce errors and non-value-added work.
• Study IT system requirements and liaise with IT and other divisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, including at least 6 years in the fuel retail industry within the region.
• Deep knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems.
