Manager Communications

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Manager Communications to shape how the brand is seen by consumers, partners and the media. Reporting to the Regional Director of Communications, the role leads PR strategy, media relations and crisis communications, and works with Marketing to deliver consistent, measurable brand coverage across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies to strengthen Talabat's reputation and thought leadership across the region.
• Drive proactive narrative development around corporate priorities such as innovation, partnerships, sustainability and regulatory positioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier-1 media across the region, ensuring consistent coverage and positive brand sentiment.
• Support C-level and regional leaders with tailored messaging, executive visibility opportunities, media training and thought leadership content.
• Draft and edit press releases, op-eds, speeches, Q&As and corporate storytelling.
• Monitor the media landscape, identify opportunities and risks, and advise leadership in time.
• Manage risk and crisis communications on sensitive issues with speed and alignment.
• Partner with Public Affairs, Marketing, Finance and other functions to ensure unified corporate reputation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field; a Master's is an advantage.
• Proven experience (6-8 years) in public relations or communications, preferably in the food tech industry or related sectors.
• Experience handling crisis situations while protecting the brand image.
• Track record of achieving PR objectives and delivering measurable results.

• Strong media relations and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and campaign planning aligned with business goals.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms, social media and PR analytics tools.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
