Manager - Financial Controlling

About the role

As a Manager – Financial Controlling you will support the division’s accounting policy development, collaborate with Group Finance, and lead the implementation of internal controls. You will also drive the rollout of collection infrastructure and champion AI‑enabled automation to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and standardise financial internal controls and accounting policies in partnership with Group Finance.
• Deliver training on IAS, IFRS and internal accounting policies to finance and operations teams.
• Oversee balance‑sheet substantiation, trial‑balance reviews and the preparation of entity‑level scorecards.
• Coordinate with shared services and business units to ensure timely period‑close and external audit processes.
• Lead the adoption of AI and automation tools, building solutions for recurring controlling deliverables and establishing data‑governance protocols.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large organisation at a supervisory level.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and exposure to SAP BW/BPC/SAC.
