Manager - Governance Risk and Compliance

About the role

The Manager – Governance Risk and Compliance will lead the implementation of GRC frameworks for the Maritime & Shipping Cluster, ensuring alignment with AD Ports Group’s corporate standards and strategic objectives. This senior position requires close collaboration with cluster subsidiaries and corporate GRC functions to embed robust governance, risk, and compliance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Maritime & Shipping Governance Framework and adapt Group GRC policies to cluster‑specific regulatory requirements.
• Support governance structures, delegation of authority, risk management, internal control, and compliance mechanisms across the cluster and its subsidiaries.
• Act as the GRC focal point for the cluster, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and ethical business practices.
• Monitor emerging GRC trends and regulatory changes, proactively adjusting strategies to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with the GRC Director and Corporate GRC Function to integrate cluster initiatives with group‑wide objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Finance, Risk Management, Management or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles, preferably within maritime or shipping industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Required skills

• Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, CFE, CCP or equivalent GRC credentials.
• Proficiency in GRC methodologies, tools and best practices applicable to the cluster’s industries.
• Excellent English language skills; Spanish or other relevant languages are an advantage.
