A detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst is sought to gather market intelligence, evaluate industry trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions in the United Arab Emirates. The role suits people interested in market analysis, business intelligence, consumer behaviour and strategic planning. It is offered remotely with a flexible working schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs and emerging opportunities.
• Collect, organise and analyse quantitative and qualitative market data.
• Research competitors' products, pricing, positioning and activities.
• Analyse consumer behaviour, purchasing patterns and preferences.
• Prepare reports, presentations and data summaries for management.
• Identify target markets and assess growth opportunities.
• Monitor economic and industry developments affecting business performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and business development teams on strategy, product, service and campaign planning.
• Maintain research records, databases and documentation.
• Use spreadsheets, analytical tools and visualisation software to share findings.
• Ensure work follows company policy and UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, numerical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of market research methods, data collection and industry analysis.
• Ability to turn data into practical recommendations; strong attention to detail.
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or a related field preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in market research, business analysis, marketing or data analysis is an advantage.
