Marketing and Communications Executive

About the role

The Marketing and Communications Executive will promote Marriott’s brand image both internally and externally, driving revenue while maintaining guest loyalty. The role involves engaging potential owners, coordinating preview package tours, and supporting the Sales & Marketing team with administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Promote brand awareness internally and externally using sales techniques to maximize revenue and retain guest loyalty.
• Communicate with potential owners by telephone to arrange preview package sales tours and explain presentation details.
• Verify eligibility of individuals for preview package tours and provide complimentary gifts such as rewards points or tickets.
• Perform general office duties for Sales & Marketing, including filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and message handling.
• Support management in training, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees, and act as a role model for the Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and ensure professional communication and documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
