Material Handler – Aviation MRO

About the role

Bombardier is opening its new Abu Dhabi Service Centre and seeks an experienced Material Handler to support warehouse operations, tool crib control, and calibration management for aviation parts and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and issue aircraft components and tools, prioritising AOG items.
• Maintain accurate inventory using SAP and manual counts, including cycle counts and work‑in‑progress.
• Control tool crib, track calibration periods, and ensure special tooling is serviced on time.
• Quarantine and label rejected or unapproved parts, and file material certificates.
• Support outbound shipments, ensure correct customer accounts, and uphold safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation parts, materials, or stores operations within an MRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of human factors, safety, and occupational health practices.
• Ability to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and relocate if not already resident.

Required skills

• SAP ERP (aviation materials management)
• Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate)
• Forklift licence or material handling certification
• Dangerous Goods Certification and familiarity with IATA regulations and Incoterms
• Tool calibration and tool crib management
