Materials Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Azizi Developments, through its infrastructure arm Royal Infra Contracting LLC, is seeking an experienced Materials Manager to lead material planning, procurement and delivery for large‑scale infrastructure projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare material requirement schedules from BOQs, drawings, specifications and the project programme.
• Forecast quantities and delivery timelines for bulk materials such as aggregates, asphalt, ready‑mix concrete, rebar, pipes and precast elements.
• Coordinate material planning with construction schedules and work closely with planning and project teams.
• Source, evaluate and approve suppliers and subcontractors in partnership with Procurement.
• Raise and track material requests, purchase orders and delivery schedules, monitoring supplier performance and resolving delays or quality issues.
• Oversee site stores, yards and lay‑down areas, maintaining accurate stock records and implementing controls on receipt, issue, transfer and returns.
• Plan logistics for heavy and bulk deliveries, including access permits and traffic coordination.
• Lead and develop storekeepers, material coordinators and logistics staff while enforcing HSE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 10+ years of material management, procurement or supply‑chain experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience on infrastructure projects in the UAE (roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, sewerage or site infrastructure).
• Strong understanding of BOQs, specifications, drawings and material take‑offs.
