MD and Head of Client Management – Securities Services

About the role

Lead the Client Management function for Securities Services at First Abu Dhabi Bank, driving strategic client relationships, revenue growth and market positioning across Direct Custody, Global Custody, Fund Administration and related services. Own the P&L for the GCC and Egypt portfolio while supporting the bank’s expansion into selected Asian markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to deepen relationships with institutional clients, increase wallet share and retain revenue.
• Set performance standards, operating rhythms and engagement disciplines for Service Directors and client‑facing teams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional delivery with Product, Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance and other stakeholders to meet client commitments and risk appetite.
• Act as senior escalation point for material client matters, applying governance and stakeholder management to protect long‑term value.
• Provide market and product expertise to shape solutions, support commercial negotiations and contribute to product development initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant discipline; professional qualification in business, finance or securities services is advantageous.
• 15+ years senior experience in client/relationship management, commercial leadership or product leadership within financial services, preferably in custody, clearing, fund administration or securities finance.
• Proven track record of managing senior institutional client relationships, growing revenue and maintaining strong retention.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution plans and measurable outcomes.
• Executive presence, strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with experience leading high‑performing teams.
