Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and control procedures for mechanical works on construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests of mechanical installations and verify conformity with project documents.
• Review mechanical drawings, method statements and specifications for accuracy.
• Monitor installation activities, identify non‑conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, documentation and maintain records.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and consultants to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical QA/QC on building or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; QA/QC certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of UAE local regulations, HSE standards and relevant codes.
• Proven ability to coordinate on‑site activities, manage stakeholders and solve problems.
