Procurement Team Leader Engineer

About the role

Rowad Modern Engineering is seeking a Procurement Team Leader Engineer to oversee the Quantity Surveying function across its UAE projects. The role focuses on cost control, budgeting, contract administration, and commercial management to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts and comparisons to validate procurement decisions and advise management.
• Identify and pre‑qualify UAE‑based vendors and suppliers for new projects.
• Align procurement strategies with project requirements, timelines, budgets, and market conditions.
• Resolve technical and project‑related issues with vendors to maintain smooth procurement activities.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly procurement reports covering status, vendor performance, risks, and recommendations.
• Act as a trusted procurement advisor to the Project Management team, supporting the delivery of UAE projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, PMP, or CSCP is preferred.
