PMC Senior Supervisor, OPS Support - Mechanical

About the role

This senior supervisory position oversees mechanical on‑site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards for a high‑profile energy client.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems (piping, rotating and static equipment) to project specifications and international standards.
• Supervise and guide contractors/sub‑contractors, enforce HSE compliance and promote a zero‑incident culture.
• Monitor mechanical progress against schedule, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation teams and resolve site issues.
• Oversee hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, reinstatement and ensure readiness for pre‑commissioning and commissioning.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale projects.

Required skills

• Piping and mechanical system installation.
• Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines) handling.
• Hydrostatic and pneumatic testing procedures.
• Non‑destructive testing (NDT) and welding quality control.
