MEP Draftsman

About the role

Careers International is hiring a full-time MEP Draftsman in Dubai. The role covers detailed MEP shop drawings, coordination with other disciplines and support of project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, drainage and ELV systems
• Prepare coordination drawings so there are no clashes between MEP and structural or architectural elements
• Develop schematic diagrams and riser diagrams
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and site teams, update drawings after consultant comments and site changes, and prepare as-built drawings in line with authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, DM, ADDC)
• Assist with quantity take-offs, material submittals and BOQs, attend coordination meetings and keep drawing logs and registers
• Ensure drawings follow company CAD standards and verify clearances, equipment locations and installation practices

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman (UAE preferred)
• Immediate joiner required

Required skills

• Strong AutoCAD drafting skills (MEP-specific)
• Knowledge of Revit MEP is a significant advantage
• Good understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy
