MEP Engineering Trainer / BIM Specialist (Remote, Part-Time)

About the role

An experienced MEP Engineering Trainer / BIM Specialist is sought to deliver technical training and practical guidance on MEP engineering principles, BIM workflows and digital construction processes. The role is fully remote and part-time, based in the United Arab Emirates, and suits someone who can combine practical MEP knowledge with BIM expertise and strong teaching skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on MEP engineering principles and BIM applications
• Prepare presentations, training materials, practical exercises and case studies
• Teach mechanical, electrical and plumbing system design fundamentals
• Demonstrate BIM modeling, documentation and coordination workflows
• Train on Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks
• Explain model development, clash detection, coordination and design review
• Guide learners in preparing MEP layouts, drawings, schedules and documentation
• Explain BIM standards, project requirements and model quality control
• Assess learner progress and give constructive technical feedback
• Stay up to date with BIM developments and recommend improvements to training content

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering, BIM modeling, building services design or technical training preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related field preferred
• Experience delivering technical training, workshops or coaching preferred
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving
• Ability to explain complex engineering concepts clearly and work independently in a remote environment

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM coordination, clash detection and model management
• Understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications and engineering documentation
