Microsoft System Server Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Microsoft System Server Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi office. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining a robust Microsoft‑based server environment that supports critical business applications. You will work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file services.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Server and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Hyper‑V and VMware virtualization environments.
• Implement monitoring, patch management and backup/recovery solutions.
• Provide Level 2/3 troubleshooting for infrastructure and server incidents.
• Document system configurations, SOPs and maintain accurate inventory.
• Assist with Azure integration, identity management and basic SAN/NAS, HCI tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline (preferred).
• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and related technologies.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104), Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert; VMware VCP is a plus.
