Middle Office Analyst – Bonds

About the role

As a Middle Office Analyst – Bonds you will join Market Securities Group’s Operations Hub in Dubai, supporting the Fixed Income business by ensuring the smooth processing of trades from execution through settlement. You will work closely with traders, brokers, custodians and clearing agents to maintain high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the post‑trade lifecycle for Fixed Income products, including Government, Corporate and Emerging Market bonds.
• Monitor trade capture, confirmations and settlement across Euroclear, Clearstream and domestic markets.
• Investigate and resolve settlement breaks and unmatched trades.
• Liaise daily with traders, brokers, counterparties, custodians and clearing agents.
• Perform reconciliations and assist with accurate P&L reporting.
• Maintain strong operational controls and escalate risks where appropriate.
• Contribute to high settlement rates and excellent client service.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, Operations or Settlements.
• Background in a broker‑dealer, investment bank, asset manager, custodian or clearing firm.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income settlement processes and familiarity with Euroclear and/or Clearstream.
• Experience with corporate actions such as coupon processing is an advantage.
• Fluent English with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
