Multi Skilled Technician – Luxury Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Multi‑Skilled Technician supports daily engineering operations at the Forbes Five‑Star Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre. You will ensure that all hotel facilities remain safe, reliable and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general building services.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing and basic troubleshooting of hotel equipment and systems.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests, attend breakdowns and emergencies, and escalate major issues as needed.
• Carry out basic repairs to guestrooms, fixtures, furniture, lighting, plumbing, air‑conditioning, doors and other building elements.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment issues and completed repairs while following all safety and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience as a Multi‑Skilled Technician or in a similar engineering role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Positive attitude, proactive approach, strong communication skills and excellent grooming standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and service quality.
