Music Teacher – Immediate Start at Al Rayana Charter School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Music Teacher for Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The school follows an American curriculum and serves mixed‑gender primary students in a state‑of‑the‑art campus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging music lessons that meet the curriculum and cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker, and use assessment results to inform further planning and intervention.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff, and external specialists such as speech‑language therapists and educational psychologists.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school’s behaviour policy and act as a positive role model.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student achievement and wellbeing.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and run a weekly ECA each term.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Commitment to the school’s values, high professional standards and the wellbeing of children.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.
