Music Teacher – Immediate Start for AY 2026/27

About the role

Join Aldar Education as a Music Teacher at the start of the 2026/27 academic year. You will inspire, engage and challenge students in a nurturing, play‑based environment, delivering high‑quality, inclusive music lessons that spark curiosity and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver music lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities and curriculum action groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Music or related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Commitment to the well‑being and holistic development of children.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
• Familiarity with the CPOMS safeguarding platform.
