Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

About the role

The Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse will work on‑site in Dubai, providing specialised care for high‑risk and critically ill newborns. This full‑time position involves direct patient care, collaboration with physicians, and family education.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and implement individualized care plans for newborns in the NICU.
• Administer medications, treatments and operate advanced neonatal equipment.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families on infant care.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in Neonatal Intensive Care and ability to manage high‑risk newborns.
• Valid UAE nursing licence or eligibility, with prior NICU experience preferred.
• Strong communication, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills within a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or willingness to obtain.
• Operation of advanced neonatal monitoring and life‑support equipment.
