Network Administrator – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Network Administrator to join a UAE holding company in Abu Dhabi. Working closely with the IT Director, you will ensure network availability, support around 150 users, and keep systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity and related equipment.
• Monitor network health, perform maintenance and create preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provision hardware and software in line with internal policies and security standards.
• Maintain servers, storage and file‑system upgrades safely.
• Create and manage network users, permissions and access controls.
• Implement backup and disaster‑recovery processes to protect data integrity.
• Evaluate security improvements, test releases and minimise user disruption.
• Produce clear technical documentation for systems, fixes and support processes.

Required profile

• Practical, proactive attitude with a focus on preventing downtime.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience as a Network Administrator and at least 4 years overall networking experience.
• Experience supporting approximately 150 users.

Required skills

• Hands‑on VMware experience (ESXi / vSphere).
• Microsoft 365 administration.
• CCTV system knowledge.
• LAN/WAN design and support.
• Cisco switches and routers (preferred).
• Backup and disaster‑recovery implementation.
• Server administration and access‑control management.
• Network monitoring, preventive maintenance and security hardening.
• Technical documentation and troubleshooting.
