Network Engineer - IT Operations Engineering & Support

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE set to open in 2027 in Ras Al Khaimah, is looking for a Network Engineer to join its IT Operations Engineering & Support team. The role covers the design, deployment and support of enterprise networks, as well as the maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN and cloud connectivity)
• Configure, maintain and optimise routers, switches, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot incidents with standard diagnostic tools
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning and configuration optimisation for scalability and reliability
• Implement and enforce network security controls, including firewall rules and compliance standards
• Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams on secure, resilient network solutions
• Document network architecture and changes, support audits, disaster recovery and end-user network issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure or enterprise network support
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation and modern security principles
• Proficiency with network monitoring and automation tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Ansible)
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification preferred, with strong analytical and communication skills
