About the role

We are seeking a Network Engineer to carry out an onsite predictive Wi‑Fi survey for a warehouse in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on assessing indoor coverage, validating performance of 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and Wi‑Fi 6 networks, and documenting the results.

Key responsibilities

Conduct an onsite predictive Wi‑Fi survey using a laptop equipped with Wi‑Fi survey software and a camera for site documentation.
Measure and verify indoor coverage for 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) frequencies, ensuring compliance with WPA2/WPA3 security and AES encryption.
Document findings, including SSID configuration (up to four SSIDs) and device density estimates (30‑40 devices).

Required profile

Minimum of 1 month experience in Wi‑Fi surveying or related networking tasks.
Familiarity with Cisco access points and ability to work onsite in a completed warehouse environment.

Required skills

WPA2 and WPA3 security protocols.
AES encryption.
Wi‑Fi survey software (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet).
802.11n and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) technologies.
Cisco access point hardware.
