Night Manager - Front Office

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid, a luxury resort in Ras Al-Khaimah, is looking for a knowledgeable and resourceful Night Manager to lead the team and deliver outstanding guest service. The Night Manager represents the hotel management overnight and is responsible for Front Office operations, supervising all night shift staff and ensuring smooth, efficient operations throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all departments during night hours and oversee Front Office operations, including front desk agents, telephone operators, concierge and bell/door staff.
• Monitor property security, manage emergency situations and act as the first point of contact for urgent guest escalations, resolving concerns in person or in writing.
• Prepare nightly reports and handover notes for day staff, and document complaints, incidents and issues needing follow-up.
• Greet VIP guests on arrival, escort them to their rooms, build rapport and offer assistance throughout their stay.
• Ensure adherence to front office policies, procedures and standards, and audit and administer the night team at Front Desk.
• Supervise late arrivals and early departures so that room allocations and check-in/check-out follow set procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar Night Manager or Front Office supervisory role in a luxury hotel.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, night auditing, guest relations and hotel procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS).
