Nurse Supervisor

About the role

The Nurse Supervisor provides clinical guidance, direction and support to nursing staff across the facility, ensuring safe and effective patient care in line with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing personnel, directing staff movement to meet clinical needs and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
• Conduct regular clinical rounds with the inter‑professional team and patients to enhance experience and address feedback.
• Oversee education, mentorship and preceptorship for pre‑registration nurses, student nurses and newly hired staff.
• Maintain compliance with NMC policies, DOH/DHA/MOH quality improvement initiatives and incident reporting procedures.
• Deliver direct patient care when required, including life‑support interventions such as BLS, PALS, ACLS and neonatal resuscitation.

Required profile

• Registered nurse licensed in the UAE, adhering to the Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice and regulator requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a role model, uphold professional standards and promote a positive practice environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement and patient‑centred care.
