Operations Manager for Charter Schools

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Operations Manager to lead operations, administration and support services across its charter schools in Abu Dhabi. The role partners with the Principal and senior leadership to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and deliver operations, administration and support services, implementing a service culture.
• Advise the Principal, senior leadership and HQ on operational, HSE and audit matters, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Develop policies, systems and student safeguarding measures in line with group standards.
• Lead recruitment, professional development, appraisal and training of operations and support staff.
• Manage operational budgets, procurement and shared‑resource opportunities.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met and champion a proactive safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent graduate qualification.
• At least 5 years of senior‑level experience in education or a service‑oriented industry.
• Fluent English communication, strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Ability to influence, plan ahead and manage compliance with government regulations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of audit and regulatory compliance processes.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) legislation.
• Commercial acumen and budget management.
