Operator – Eastern & Taweelah Area

About the role

The Operator will be responsible for running and monitoring process plant equipment in the Eastern and Taweelah area of ADNOC. The role ensures safe, efficient operation in line with standard operating procedures and the company's HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment safely and adjust speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates as required.
• Perform routine equipment checks, report abnormalities and coordinate maintenance.
• Prepare plant and equipment for shutdown, start‑up and scheduled maintenance.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock registers and batch chemicals for process use while following HSE rules.
• Obtain work permits, monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies according to the Facility Response Plan.
• Prepare KPI checklists and report performance to management.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of plant operations experience in a large industrial oil‑and‑gas facility.
• Knowledge of HSE standards, permit‑to‑work systems and emergency response procedures.
