Outlet Manager - Food and Beverage

About the role

Park Hyatt Dubai is looking for an Outlet Manager to oversee the daily operation of its Food and Beverage outlet. The role ensures exceptional service, guest satisfaction, strong team performance and financial control, with a hands-on leadership approach that upholds the property's luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily outlet operations and stay visible during service, especially at peak times, to support the team and guests.
• Train, coach and develop the team on service procedures, menu knowledge, upselling, guest engagement and luxury service standards.
• Plan staffing levels, duty schedules and team deployment based on forecasted business volumes.
• Hold daily pre-shift briefings on reservations, VIP guests, menu updates, service priorities, promotions and operational needs.
• Monitor guest experience, handle enquiries and resolve complaints promptly with follow-up.
• Guide the team in recommending food and beverages and maximising upselling opportunities.
• Liaise with Culinary, Beverage and other departments to keep service efficient and product quality high.
• Keep outlets, service stations, storage and back-of-house areas clean, organised and well-equipped; set and maintain par levels and run regular inventory checks.
• Ensure accurate cashiering, billing, payment handling and Point of Sale procedures, and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Continuously review service standards, team productivity and guest feedback to drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Food and Beverage service experience, including supervisory or management experience in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Proven leadership, with experience in team training, performance management, workforce planning and employee development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and guest-relations skills, with strong organisational and commercial awareness.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of outlet operations, menu presentation, upselling, cashiering, inventory control and cost management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Point of Sale systems and hotel management platforms.
