Outlet Manager - Food & Beverage

About the role

Kempinski is looking for an Outlet Manager in its Food & Beverage department in Dubai. The manager produces an outstanding guest experience by leading a service team in cooperation with the culinary team, delivering courteous, professional and efficient service in line with outlet, hotel and Kempinski standards while driving sales and maximising profit.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the outlet team (Assistant Manager, supervisors, waiters, hosts, cashier) and lead it in cost control, quality and revenue.
• Set an example in punctuality, dress code, grooming, hygiene and service, and train staff on the outlet concept.
• Take part in menu design with the Head Chef and Chef Sommelier, organise tastings and know the local restaurant scene.
• Perform up-selling, use the POS system and produce outlet reports presented in the monthly performance meeting.
• Prepare the outlet budget, conduct monthly inventory with the stewarding department and manage outlet floats.
• Run daily or weekly briefings, pre-shift meetings and staff trainings, and act as Duty Manager when absent.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints, monitor quality and guest satisfaction, and support supplier cooperation.

Required profile

• BA/BSc in Hospitality Management or a related field, preferably from a hotel school or MBA.
• Minimum 2 years in an F&B management role, preferably with a 5-star hotel chain.
• Excellent spoken and written Arabic and English; another language is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, handle pressure and build effective relationships with staff and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Ability to operate computers and office equipment.
