Painter for Hotel Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our facilities team at Sofitel in Ras Al Khaimah. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality interior and exterior painting projects, ensuring all surfaces meet our exacting standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, primer application, and final finishing.
• Perform wallpaper installation, plaster patching, caulking, and other decorative finishing work with precision.
• Conduct thorough surface preparation—cleaning, sanding, priming—to ensure optimal paint adhesion and longevity.
• Identify wear‑and‑tear issues through regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and operate painting equipment safely, ensuring proper storage and upkeep.

Required profile

• Trade Certificate in Painting and Decorating or demonstrable industry experience.
• Proven experience in commercial painting, preferably within hospitality or large‑scale facility management.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and fire‑life‑safety protocols related to painting operations.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights when required.
