Panel Operator – Material Handling & Process Control

About the role

We are looking for a Panel Operator to manage the control panels of various material handling and processing systems at our plant in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures smooth operation of reactor charging, DRI transport, de‑dusting and cement coating processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate control panels for material handling, reactor charge/discharge, hot and cold DRI transport, de‑dusting and cement coating systems.
• Maintain process parameters according to daily operating instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor plant performance, record parameters in log sheets and take timely corrective actions to prevent delays or unsafe events.
• Coordinate with field staff to set equipment and valve positions as required.
• Communicate any deviations to the shift supervisor or senior panel operator and work with the Materials Handling department for raw material feeding and product discharge.
• Follow shutdown, start‑up and emergency procedures to ensure safe plant operation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating control panels in an industrial environment.
• Higher Secondary School or ITI qualification.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and follow safety standards.
