Parts Supervisor - Luxury Automotive

About the role

Al Tayer Motors, a luxury automotive group in the UAE with around 3,000 employees, is hiring a Parts Supervisor in Ras Al Khaimah. The role supervises the professional support given to internal and external customers, identifies their parts needs and helps them make cost-benefit purchasing decisions so that budgeted sales targets are met or exceeded.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries, check the availability of required parts and organise delivery within the prescribed standard time.
• Source parts from other locations for urgent customer needs, or order through the inventory department for delivery on an agreed date.
• Prepare Sales Return Notes for returned items and adjust stock and payments accordingly.
• Promote the sale of accessories to increase sales and profitability.
• Contribute to coordination of promotions and campaigns for seasonal products and slow-moving inventory.
• Visit credit customers regularly to resolve outstanding issues and maintain business continuity.
• Handle escalated complaints about delays or defective, damaged or wrong parts, explain the reasons and resolve the grievances.
• Guide and motivate subordinates, develop them for higher-level roles and ensure quality work.

Required profile

• Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a similar field.
• 5+ years of total relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
