Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive is the first point of contact for visitors at Sunny Medical Center Al Nahda. The role combines front‑desk reception, patient registration, billing and insurance coordination, ensuring a smooth experience for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the appropriate department and provide general information about the hospital.
• Answer telephone inquiries, manage email correspondence and schedule appointments, including handling no‑shows and rescheduling.
• Register new patients, keep existing records up‑to‑date and maintain confidentiality.
• Explain insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, issue claim forms and process reimbursements.
• Handle daily cash, credit‑card and cheque deposits, ensuring accurate end‑of‑shift financial processing.
• Generate and process invoices for consultations, treatments and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and respond to patient complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Follow hospital policies, NMC regulations and JCI standards, supporting quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a courteous demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment and follow strict procedural guidelines.
• Attention to detail for data accuracy and financial transactions.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and infection‑control protocols.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Hospital Information System (HIS) for patient registration and billing.
