Patient Admin Executive - UAEN

About the role

NMC Healthcare is hiring a Patient Admin Executive in Dubai. The role covers patient reception, registration, appointment management, insurance guidance and billing, and involves both front-desk and back-office tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the right departments and give routine information about the hospital.
• Handle telephone inquiries and pass information to doctors or nurses for callbacks.
• Manage appointments, including no-shows, rescheduling and confirmations.
• Register new patients and keep current patient records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co-payments and provide claim forms for reimbursement.
• Process patient invoices for consultations, treatments and diagnostic tests, issue bills for outstanding balances and help patients understand their charges.
• Facilitate daily cash collection, credit card slips and cheque deposits, following finance protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of the hospital information system, clinic hours, appointment durations and doctor rosters.
• Check emails daily, handle complaints professionally and keep the reception area safe and clean.
• Follow the duty roster, hospital policies, infection control and JCI standards, and support quality improvement.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or a related field.
• Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic is desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, with critical thinking and confidentiality.
• Ability to follow the duty schedule, including different shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in the hospital information system.
