Patient Administration Executive

About the role

The Patient Administration Executive will be the first point of contact for patients entering the facility, handling registration, billing, insurance queries and ensuring smooth front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine information.
• Manage telephone inquiries, schedule appointments, handle no‑shows and rescheduling.
• Register new patients and keep existing records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and provide claim forms.
• Process daily cash, credit‑card and cheque deposits in line with finance protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic times and doctor rosters.
• Check and respond to emails promptly.
• Generate and issue patient invoices, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with legal requirements.
• Handle patient complaints professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in training programs and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• College Diploma in any discipline or related field.
• Ability to maintain patient and staff confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
