About the role
The Payables Specialist will manage all disbursement transactions for suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with Department of Finance policies and relevant procurement laws.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and review invoices, verifying supporting documents before processing payments.
- Prepare and record disbursement transactions in multiple currencies and maintain special payment records.
- Audit supporting documents in line with purchasing, delegation of powers, and financial systems.
- Record revenue receipt transactions related to suppliers and contractors.
- Prepare periodic reports, calculate due expenses, and update records regularly.
Required profile
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar payables or accounting role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CMA or equivalent preferred.
