Payment Officer

About the role

Azizi Developments, a leading private real estate developer in the UAE, is seeking a detail‑oriented, organized and proactive Payment Officer to join its Commercial Department. The role focuses on coordinating subcontractor and supplier payment applications, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete, and maintaining accurate payment records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on invoices and payment applications.
• Collect and follow up on required documentation from project and QS teams for payment certification.
• Maintain payment logs, track status, and provide regular updates to the Payment Control Manager.
• Review payment certificates, pro‑forma invoices and final accounts, and coordinate cheque requests.
• Support the Commercial team with payment and cost‑control activities, including reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure all payment documentation is audit‑ready and properly filed.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and organized.
• Proactive communicator able to work closely with project, QS, subcontractor and supplier teams.
• Minimum of 1 month relevant experience.
