Payments Trade & Working Capital FI Sales Associate/Senior Associate in Dubai

About the role

The Payments Trade & Working Capital team at J.P. Morgan is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to support the Middle East and Africa Financial Institutions (FI) Sales team. You will help develop trade strategy, drive new business, and ensure high‑quality transaction implementation for large FI clients.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to MEA FI trade revenue growth by developing and executing a regional trade strategy.
• Drive innovative and traditional trade solutions, manage stakeholder coordination, and oversee sell‑down strategies with the distribution team.
• Collaborate with the Core Trade Product team on new product approvals and conduct balance‑sheet monitoring, portfolio reviews, and trade committee approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience positioning and winning new trade flows from FI clients in the MEA region.
• Strong analytical, presentation, project‑management and strategic‑planning abilities.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of core Trade Finance products (e.g., Documentary Letters of Credit, Draft Discounting, Trade Loans).
• Understanding of credit, risk, corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
