Payroll Officer – HR & HRIS Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Payroll Officer to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, maintain the HRIS and ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations. The role supports a fast‑paced hospitality operation and works closely with the accounting and HR teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time, adhering to labour laws and company policies.
• Maintain and update the HRIS with employee data, benefits and deductions.
• Verify documentation for new joiners and leavers to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Generate, review and obtain approvals for payroll reports before forwarding to Accounting.
• Conduct payroll reconciliation, including headcount validation, general ledger and bank statements.
• Audit time, attendance, leave records and handle final settlements for departing staff.
• Maintain organized HR records and leave balances.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Address employee inquiries related to attendance, payroll discrepancies, and HRIS issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR payroll processing and HRIS management, preferably in hospitality, F&B or retail.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, payroll regulations and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to thrive in a complex, busy environment.
• Proficiency in HR/payroll systems and MS Office.
