People & Culture Review Specialist (HR Audit & Advisory)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Review Specialist to lead a 23‑day engagement in Abu Dhabi, focusing on talent development, succession planning, employee retention, engagement and workforce planning. This role is dedicated to HR audit, governance and advisory work rather than general HR operations or recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Review the design and effectiveness of talent development and succession planning processes.
• Assess employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives through stakeholder interviews and process walkthroughs.
• Conduct controls assessments, governance reviews and compliance checks across people‑related functions.
• Analyse workforce metrics, engagement survey results and other people data, and produce observation reports with recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in internal HR audit, HR advisory, governance or organizational effectiveness reviews.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CIPD, SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP, or an equivalent credential.
• Proven ability to lead risk, controls or compliance assessments within a people & culture context.
