Personal Accountant - VVIP Client

About the role

A recruitment consultancy is looking for a highly professional and trustworthy Personal Accountant to support a VVIP client in Abu Dhabi. The role covers personal financial transactions, payment coordination, budgeting support and strict confidentiality. It suits a flexible, detail-oriented person who can handle sensitive financial matters with discretion.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and monitor all personal financial transactions and payments
• Manage bank accounts, transfers and payment schedules accurately and efficiently
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking and basic financial forecasting
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Coordinate with banks, vendors and service providers when required
• Prepare financial summaries and reports for review
• Ensure confidentiality and follow up on payment deadlines
• Support day-to-day administrative and finance needs and travel within Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other Emirates when required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience in the UAE
• Experience with personal or executive-level finances is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills
• High integrity, professionalism and confidentiality; flexible with work schedules
• UAE driving licence preferred

Required skills

• Strong understanding of payments processing and expense management
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as Zoho or similar platforms
• CMA, ACCA or other finance certifications are an advantage but not mandatory
