Pharmacy Informatics Specialist – Oracle Health/Cerner

About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to support and optimise Oracle Health/Cerner medication‑management applications. The role will act as a functional expert for PharmNet, PowerOrders, PowerPlans, PBM and Retail PharmNet, ensuring safe, efficient and standardised pharmacy workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Support and optimise Oracle Health/Cerner PharmNet, PBM, PowerOrders, PowerPlans and Retail PharmNet applications.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for medication‑management workflows, pharmacy informatics and retail pharmacy operations.
• Resolve application incidents, analyse issues and coordinate enhancements with users, IT teams and vendors.
• Support system upgrades, testing, release management and implementation activities.
• Improve medication safety, clinical workflows and process standardisation across pharmacy services.
• Lead or support AI and automation initiatives within pharmacy and medication‑management processes.
• Deliver user training, prepare job aids and support adoption of new functionality.
• Assist with reporting, compliance, stakeholder engagement and vendor management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, pharmacy informatics or clinical application support.
• Hands‑on experience with PharmNet, PBM, Retail PharmNet or equivalent pharmacy information systems.
• Strong understanding of medication‑management processes, pharmacy operations, clinical workflows and patient safety.
• Experience in application support, testing, implementation and end‑user training.
• Preferred certifications: Health Informatics, Pharmacy Informatics, ITIL, PMP or CPHIMS.
