Piping Engineer (UAE National) – Sharjah

About the role

We are seeking talented and motivated UAE National Piping Engineers to join our Engineering and Projects team in Sharjah. The position is open to fresh graduates and professionals with up to ten years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing piping layouts, routing studies, and engineering drawings, and support design activities in line with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review and develop P&IDs, isometric drawings, 3D models, and piping layouts, ensuring compliance with codes and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Process, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in project meetings, constructability reviews, HAZOP studies, and design risk assessments.
• Perform piping stress analysis, flexibility studies, and develop specifications, material requisitions, datasheets, and technical bid evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support procurement, installation, commissioning, and start‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Internship or project experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, or industrial projects is preferred.
• Understanding of piping design principles, FEED, detailed engineering, brownfield/greenfield projects.
• Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI and other international codes and standards.
• Ability to work on‑site in Sharjah and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
