Planning Engineer – Power Transmission & Infrastructure

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Planning Engineer to support integrated programme scheduling, progress monitoring and schedule analysis across multidisciplinary power transmission and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse contractor schedules.
• Support development and maintenance of the integrated Master Program Schedule.
• Perform critical‑path, float and sequencing analysis.
• Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify schedule slippage.
• Identify emerging delay risks and review recovery and mitigation schedules.
• Integrate procurement and long‑lead equipment milestones into the programme.
• Prepare schedule dashboards and periodic progress reports.
• Support earned‑value and S‑curve analysis for project performance.
• Participate in milestone readiness and schedule review meetings.

Required profile

• Strong planning experience on major infrastructure, energy or utility projects.
• Advanced capability in Primavera P6 for complex scheduling.
• Proven experience with EPC project schedules and critical‑path analysis.
• Ability to analyse delays, progress trends and develop recovery plans.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills for schedule performance.
• Experience monitoring planned versus actual progress and identifying slippage.
