Pool Maintenance Manager – 5‑Star Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Pool Maintenance Manager will lead daily operations, maintenance and safety of all swimming pool facilities for a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel on the Red Sea. You will ensure pools, water systems and equipment meet the highest hospitality standards while complying with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily pool maintenance, including water quality, filtration, pumps and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain chemical levels, water balance, chlorine and pH to luxury‑hotel standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool areas, equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all pool machinery.
• Oversee pool cleaning processes such as skimming, vacuuming, backwashing and water treatment.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety procedures and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping and Recreation teams for seamless pool operations.
• Train, supervise and guide pool maintenance staff, promoting proper work practices.
• Maintain accurate records of water testing, maintenance activities, chemical usage and inspections.
• Manage inventory of pool chemicals, tools and maintenance supplies.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and support emergency procedures to guarantee guest safety.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in pool maintenance, preferably in a 5‑star hotel or luxury resort.
• Previous role as Pool Maintenance Manager, Pool Supervisor or similar.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications in pool operation, water treatment or chemical handling (advantageous).
