Postdoctoral Researcher – AI for Precision Medicine & Therapeutics

About the role

We are seeking talented postdoctoral researchers to develop AI and network data‑science algorithms that mine multi‑omics and medical data, advancing precision medicine and therapeutic discovery. The role involves close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team on flagship projects such as the Human Phenotype Project and the Emirati Genome Project.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML models, including deep learning and LLM approaches, for genomics, bioinformatics, and computational chemistry applications.
• Analyze large‑scale molecular and clinical datasets, applying network science and graph‑theoretic methods to uncover therapeutic targets.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong publication record in top‑tier conferences or journals in AI, bioinformatics, or related areas.

Required skills

• Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MATLAB, C, C++.
• Data analysis, statistics, scientific computing, algorithms, graph and network theory.
• Machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, computational chemistry, genomics, network biology.
