Pre-Sales Engineer

About the role
The Pre‑Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise, design solutions and support the sales cycle for MDS CS products and services in the UAE market.
Key responsibilities
- Act as subject‑matter expert for product and service design, creating high‑level solutions and proposals.
- Collaborate with sales to develop account penetration strategies, qualify opportunities and present technical solutions.
- Lead proof‑of‑concepts, respond to RFPs/RFQs and prepare bills of materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, distributors and customers.
- Document pre‑sales activities promptly and use Salesforce CRM for lead and opportunity management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 2‑5 years of experience with PCs, laptops, printers, workstations and related client‑computing products.
- Proven pre‑sales experience in solution design, technical presentations and tender processes.
- Comfortable working in a commercial, sales‑oriented environment and achieving targets.
Required skills
- Solution design and technical proposal development.
- Salesforce.com CRM usage.
- Proof‑of‑concept execution.
- RFP/RFQ response and BOM preparation.
